“It gives me a great pleasure to introduce this academic project to my fellow Academic Experts and potential participants. I’m grateful to IHI-Kupgrade Pakistan for giving me this opportunity to act as the Lead Academic Expert. This project is a joint venture of Kupgrade, BMJ Learning and IHI we have the resources available to us in form of leading medical educational providers like BMJ, Wolters Kluwer and AAFP.
I’m grateful to my fellow Academic Experts for their kind consent and contribution towards this great academic initiative for Pakistani Cardiologist and Cardiologist In training. I’m grateful to Mr. Khalid Qureshi the focal person of BMJ in Pakistan and his secretarial staff for all the secretarial job and producing this beautiful brochure.
We are hoping to liaise with the leading pharmaceutical companies interested in academics to launch this program across the country. Initially the program is to have a monthly meeting based on a topical issues discussed in BMJ Heart and will take it from there and we are also hoping to introduce various courses and variety of other academic activities that are required to update our young cardiologist and fellows in cardiology.
I’m once again grateful to IHI-Kupgrade for appointing me as a Lead Expert I’m grateful to my fellow Academic Experts who have kindly agreed to join our team and I look forward to a great productive, interactive and fruitful association, I hope our efforts will enhance the standards of medical education in particular of Cardiology in Pakistan thank you very much once again.
